Representative image · PexelsReality television series Rise and Fall Season 2 expelled contestant Siwet Tomar in its third episode after a heated argument with fellow participant Shehzad Poonawalla turned violent.
Episode Events
The episode opened with basement contestants discussing targets while penthouses rulers planned strategies. An upcoming Ultimate Ruler race offered decision-making authority and immunity from weekly elimination. Rulers named the weakest decision-maker before the contest, with Siwet receiving multiple mentions and Karan Patel selecting Shehzad. Siwet and Shehzad had originally planned to cooperate in the game, but their alliance broke down. Siwet confronted Shehzad during a verbal dispute and blamed him for failing to keep his word.
The Physical Altercation
Siwet was eventually voted the weakest decision-maker, barring him from the Ultimate Ruler race. He then named Shehzad as the weakest, leading to a chain of selections that placed Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Tej Pratap Yadav, and Irina Rudakova as the first three contenders. Tension spiked later when Shehzad questioned Siwet for speaking with Swara Bhasker. The dispute worsened until Siwet physically attacked Shehzad, injuring him and tearing his clothes. Producers removed Siwet for breaking strict show regulations against physical assault.
Walkout And Current Standings
Displeased with the penalty, Swara and Karan argued that Shehzad provoked the fight and walked out of the Tower in protest alongside Siwet. By the end of the episode, Tej Pratap, Shehzad, Priyanka, Irina, and Raj stayed in the Penthouse, whereas Niharika Tiwari, Kaira Anu, Anish Bhagat, Sara Gurpal, Manish Kashyap, Gautam Gulati, and Kajal Raghwani remained in the Basement. The show is produced by Banijay Asia, hosted by former cricketer Virender Sehwag, and streams for free on Prime Video.
Context
Reality television shows routinely enforce strict zero-tolerance codes against physical violence to maintain safety and discipline among contestants. When major participants are ejected or walk out in protest, it typically causes sudden shifts in alliances and changes the overall dynamic of the game for remaining players.
