Dhanlaxmi Bank posted a net profit of ₹48.55 crore in the second quarter of FY 2026‑27, more than double the ₹23.20 crore recorded in the same quarter a year earlier. Operating profit rose to ₹69.82 crore from ₹28.19 crore a year back, showing a sharp improvement in earnings. Total business reached ₹36,499 crore on 30 September 2026, up 21.07% from ₹30,146 crore on 30 September 2025. Total deposits grew to ₹20,551 crore, a 20.15% rise from ₹17,105 crore recorded on 30 June 2025. CASA deposits increased to ₹5,769 crore, compared with ₹4,938 crore a year earlier. The higher deposit base lowered funding costs, as reflected in the rise of CASA shares. Managing Director and CEO Ajith Kumar K.K. said the results reflect the bank’s robust growth and the strength of its strategy as it approaches its centenary, and thanked customers, employees and shareholders for their support. He added that the bank will continue to focus on sustainable, innovative banking, introduce new digital services and expand branches to build on the current momentum.
