Representative image · PexelsDomestic stock markets are facing correction-led headwinds due to volatile crude prices, US Treasury yields staying near two-decade highs, and persistent FII outflows putting pressure on the rupee. Initial public offering fundraising is also absorbing extra market liquidity, while global interest rate hike worries keep investor risk appetite subdued.
Stock Recommendations
Analyst Nagaraj Shetti from HDFC Securities has given recommendations including a stock with a stop-loss set at Rs 4850 and a target of Rs 4450, noting that last week's bounce has reversed down sharply with bearish patterns like lower tops and bottoms on the daily chart. Shetti also suggests a second stock with a stop-loss of Rs 191 and a target of Rs 215, highlighting a strong upside momentum and a recent breakout from a multi-week range at Rs 195-196 levels. Vaishali Patel, Senior Manager of Research in the Technical Department at Jainam, recommends a stock with a stop-loss at Rs 797 and a target of Rs 872 following a breakout above a key resistance zone. Patel also points to Rashi Peripherals with a stop-loss of Rs 891 and a target of Rs 980, citing a bullish cup and handle breakout pattern and a recent price move above the 900-910 range. Virat Jagad, Senior Technical Research Analyst at Bonanza Portfolio, highlights Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited with a stop-loss at Rs 2275 and a target of Rs 2650 after a horizontal resistance breakout past 2,300. Jagad also recommends Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited with a stop-loss of Rs 1730 and targets up to Rs 2000 following a turnaround from its demand zone around 1720 to 1740.
