Jio Platforms has made its public listing in India with a market value of one hundred thirty-seven billion and three hundred million dollars. This valuation makes it the fifth-largest telecom company in the entire world, putting it ahead of Deutsche Telekom. Other global telecom giants like China Mobile and Verizon still stay ahead in terms of total market value. Jio gets this high valuation partly because of its modern four-G and five-G networks. These new networks are different from the older tech systems that many other global companies still use.

Valuation

Even though its overall size is smaller than some of the biggest worldwide telecom operators, Jio Platforms still commands a very high market value. Analysts note that modern digital networks give tech-driven firms a strong edge in modern markets.

Context

In the modern telecom world, newly built digital networks often avoid the heavy costs of maintaining older, outdated infrastructure. This structural difference allows newer digital-first telecom firms to scale up quickly and attract strong market interest from investors worldwide.
