The producers of the upcoming action movie Jailer 2 dropped a fresh track titled Bindaas on Wednesday evening. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, this four-minute track features actor Nora Fatehi dancing in a gold fringe outfit alongside a group of background dancers on stage. The track includes lyrics by Super Subu in both Tamil and Hindi, with vocals performed by Anirudh and Deepthi Suresh. This release marks the second dance track for the project, following a previous number titled Ala Bolelo featuring Shamna Kasim, also known as Poorna.

Fan Reactions

While lead actor Rajinikanth does not appear in the newly released video, viewers took to social media platform X to express mixed reactions to the film featuring multiple dance numbers. Several social media users criticized the inclusion of two such tracks in a movie starring a major star, with some questioning the reliance on commercial formulas and accusing the makers of objectifying women. Conversely, other viewers praised Nora's dance performance, with some even ranking the new track above previous popular numbers.

Cast And Release

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the upcoming project serves as a follow-up to the hit 2023 feature Jailer. Original cast members such as Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, and Rithvik return for the upcoming release, alongside new additions including SJ Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anna Rajan, and Jatin Sarna, plus expected cameo appearances by Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar. The film is scheduled to hit cinema halls on October 15.

Context

Movie studios often release promotional music videos ahead of a film's theatrical debut to build audience excitement and generate online discussion. High-profile dance numbers featuring popular guest performers have long been a common marketing tool in commercial Indian cinema to attract broader viewer interest across different regions.
