Visakhapatnam offers free child-care training for women starting November 2

Women in Visakhapatnam aged 19 to 40 can join a free child-care training programme starting November 2. The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations in the Visakhapatnam district are offering this course together with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation.

Programme Details

The training runs for 360 hours at the Sri Sathya Sai Mahila Skill Development Centre located in Yendada. Women who have either passed or failed Class 10 are eligible to apply for the course.

Employment Opportunities

Participants who finish the training will get a government certificate. The organisers state that the programme helps women find jobs in child-care centres, hospitals, and kindergartens, or start home-based child-care services.
