Executive Comments

Nicolas Eglau, managing director for EMEA, APAC, and global distribution at Moonbug Entertainment, said the company is excited to partner with Paramount+. He noted that Paramount+ has built a strong lineup for children and families, making these brands a natural fit for the platform. Moonbug Entertainment is part of Candle Media, which is led by Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs.

Context

Streaming services often buy non-exclusive rights so they can share popular shows that are already streaming on other platforms like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and Prime Video. This deal marks the first time Paramount+ has added Moonbug programming to its platform, helping the service expand its catalog of children's entertainment.
