Record-Breaking Launch

'Tu Mil Jaaye', the first song from Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King, has set a new record by crossing 36.3 million views and 430,000 likes on YouTube within its first 24 hours. Released at midnight on November 2 to coincide with the actor's 61st birthday, the romantic track also crossed 60 million views across all digital platforms combined during the same period. Makers stated that this makes it the most-watched Indian movie song on YouTube in its first day.

Beating Previous Hits

The new track leaves behind several other popular Indian film songs in its opening day numbers. It surpassed 'Zinda Banda' from Shah Rukh Khan's film Jawan, which had 34.6 million views in its first 24 hours. It also beat 'Gujju Pataka' with 34 million views, 'Jai Shri Ram' with 32.2 million views, and 'Ram Siya Ram' with 32.1 million views.

Cast And Crew

The song brings Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone back together on screen. It features romantic moments along with action scenes and dialogues from the movie. Arijit Singh and Madhubanti Bagchi have sung the track, with music by Sachin-Jigar and lyrics by Kumaar. Ed Sheeran is also listed in the artist lineup for the song. Deepika Padukone was five months pregnant during the shoot. Siddharth Anand is directing the film, and it will release in theatres on December 24, 2026.
