Veteran stuntwoman and stunt director Geeta Tandon has publicly criticized the production team of the television game show India Ke Top 1% after a troubled guest appearance. Tandon stated that she and her son were made to wait for nearly nine hours in a tent without proper updates after arriving at the set at 12:30 PM. She claimed she had given up a day of paid work and called her son back from Goa following repeated follow-ups from the show's team, agreeing to participate without any payment in exchange for visibility. According to Tandon, communication from the crew remained poor throughout the day. When she finally confronted the staff, production manager Jaydeep allegedly remarked that they could leave only after signing documents, a demand she found unacceptable. Tandon and her son ultimately left the premises at 9:15 PM without filming their segment.

Reactions

In a detailed social media post addressing the incident, Tandon directed her comments toward host Anil Kapoor, Farah Khan, and the production company, Banijay Asia. She clarified that she did not believe the prominent figures personally ordered her mistreatment, but she wanted them to be aware of how invited guests were handled. She dedicated her statement to stunt professionals, technicians, junior artists, body doubles, and background performers, stressing that dignity should not depend on fame.

Context

Reality television shoots commonly involve long waiting hours for participants, guests, and studio audiences due to changing production schedules and live-segment delays. However, guest safety, professional courtesy, and clear communication remain key expectations when television productions invite industry veterans to appear on camera.
