Police Notices

Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has accused the police of sending notices to party workers to stop them from joining a planned protest in New Delhi on October 10. Speaking at a press conference in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dipke claimed that police are questioning workers about their travel expenses and pressuring them to stay away from the agitation. He termed the police action as a clear sign of dictatorship. Dipke specifically questioned how Chandrapur police could claim in advance that the protest would turn violent, asking if they had a prior plan.

Demands and Political Clash

The October 10 protest at Jantar Mantar is being organized to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Dipke launched a strong attack against the BJP-led central government, alleging that the slogan of 'One Nation, One Election' is just a cover for wanting 'One Nation, One Political Party'. Meanwhile, a political war of words has broken out between CJP and other parties. CJP leaders Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka claimed that apart from the BJP, self-proclaimed liberal groups are trying to pull down the youth movement. In response, Assam Congress spokesperson Ritam Singh claimed that Congress helped CJP workers when they were detained in Assam, but CJP leaders refused to meet them due to instructions from the Aam Aadmi Party.

Context

Political protests in the capital often draw heavy police scrutiny regarding travel arrangements, security, and potential law and order issues. The clash between emerging political groups and established parties frequently leads to public exchanges on social media and public platforms.
