Honda Cars India has launched the facelifted Elevate in the country, with ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 11.80 lakh and going up to Rs 18.40 lakh. The refreshed midsize SUV introduces design changes inside and out, alongside new features aimed at the domestic market.

Interior and Comfort

The updated lineup features an ivory-and-black dashboard theme, replacing the earlier faux-wood finish, with soft-touch surfaces and wraparound ambient lighting on higher trims. Cabin noise insulation has been improved to reduce engine, tyre, and road noise inside the vehicle. The newly added ZX+ trim introduces front and rear ventilated seats, with rear ventilation touted as a segment-first feature. Additionally, the ZX+ trim brings eight-way powered adjustment for the driver's seat and four-way powered adjustment for the front passenger seat.

Safety and Tech

On the safety and tech front, Honda has equipped CVT variants with rear disc brakes and an electronic parking brake featuring an auto-hold function. Manual variants continue with rear drum brakes and a manual parking brake lever. Front parking sensors are available on the ZX trim, while adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow is added to the ZX+ CVT variant. A rear parking camera is offered from the V trim, and a LaneWatch camera is available from the VX trim.

Context

The midsize SUV category in India is a fiercely contested segment with numerous popular models competing for buyer attention. Mid-cycle refreshes are a common industry practice used by carmakers to keep existing models fresh and competitive without undertaking a full generation change.
