Honda has officially published the technical specifications for the India-spec Rebel 300 on its website as customer deliveries get closer. The motorcycle was launched in August 2026 at a price of Rs 2.22 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 2.62 lakh for the E-Clutch version, with both prices being ex-showroom.

Specifications

The Rebel 300 runs on a 286.01cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that makes 20.3 kW, which is about 27.6 PS, at 8,000 rpm. It produces peak torque of 24.5 Nm at 6,250 rpm, and both variants come with a six-speed gearbox. The standard model includes an assist and slipper clutch, while the higher-priced option features Honda's E-Clutch system. The E-Clutch system lets riders start, stop, and change gears without touching the clutch lever, though the foot shifter is still needed for gear selection, and riders can also use the clutch lever normally if they prefer.

Dimensions And Equipment

The standard variant weighs 173 kg, while the E-Clutch version is 3 kg heavier at 176 kg, and both hold 11.2 litres of fuel. The bike measures 2,200 mm in length, 808 mm in width, and 1,125 mm in height, with a 1,506 mm wheelbase, a low 690 mm seat height, and 129 mm of ground clearance. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers on 16-inch wheels, paired with a 130/90 front tyre and a 150/80 rear tyre, along with dual-channel ABS. Features include LED headlamps and tail lamps, a TFT instrument display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and a Type-C charging port.

Context

Automotive manufacturers typically publish detailed specification sheets online shortly before customer deliveries begin to help buyers understand exact vehicle dimensions and features. The Honda Rebel 300 enters the Indian market as a cruiser-style motorcycle option distributed through the brand's premium BigWing dealership network.
