Soundarya Rajinikanth opens up about parents shifting home dynamics and her second chance at love

Soundarya Rajinikanth recently shared how her parents, Rajinikanth and Latha, are shifting away from traditional male-dominated household dynamics as they grow older together. ## Marriage And Family Support The filmmaker, whose production Love is currently streaming on Netflix, opened up about her personal life in a recent interview. Having gone through a divorce from her first husband, businessman Ashwin Ramkumar, nearly a decade ago in 2017, she recalled how her parents stood by her like rock support during that difficult phase. The couple had married in September 2010 and welcomed their son, Ved, two years before their separation following misunderstandings that reached a point of no return. Soundarya stated that her first marriage failing did not make her stop believing in the institution of marriage, but rather helped her realise she was simply in the wrong relationship. She later gave love a second chance by marrying actor Vishagan Vanangamudi. ## Context Soundarya Rajinikanth noted that her understanding of love evolved as she aged from twenty to forty, while her parents were also learning alongside them. She and her current husband follow a mutual formula of meeting each other halfway rather than insisting on their own way. Meanwhile, her latest production Love is directed by Balaji Mohan, who is also preparing for his Hindi debut titled Nayyi Navelli starring Yami Gautam.
