At the opening ceremony for new entrants at Dr. RVR NRI Institute of Technology in Vijayawada, the head of the School of Planning and Architecture told the audience that young people must set high goals to help build a self‑sufficient country. He stressed that thinking independently and aiming beyond simple degree attainment will spark fresh ideas and innovations. More than two thousand first‑year learners took part in the celebration, performing vibrant songs and dances that highlighted the campus’s cultural spirit. M.L.N. Rao, who leads Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, warned that advances in fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning and quantum science will overhaul industries in the next five to ten years. He urged the newcomers to ready themselves for the long‑term plans named Swarna Andhra Pradesh 2047 and Viksit Bharat 2047. Dr. Ravi Venkata Rao, chairperson and chancellor of the institute, explained that the four‑year curriculum is designed to produce responsible graduates capable of meeting future challenges and adding real value to society. Vice‑chancellor Dr. K.R.S. Sambasiva Rao appealed to students to make full use of the university’s teaching resources and to keep upgrading their skills so they can enter the job market with confidence. Dean D. Suneetha, along with pro‑vice‑chancellors, registrars, department heads and faculty, oversaw the event and joined the speakers in encouraging the fresh batch.
