The positive Muhurat session follows a strong rally in the equity market. On Friday, November 6, Foreign Institutional Investors bought equities worth Rs 13,749.82 crore. Context
Muhurat trading is a symbolic Diwali tradition where investors open new account books to invite prosperity for the year ahead. Unlike normal trading days, this special session runs for a much shorter period of time. Historical patterns show that the NSE and BSE have maintained this unique festive market custom for decades.
