New Zealand has suffered major squad setbacks ahead of its multi-format series against India starting October 22, with key players ruled out due to injuries. Batter Mark Chapman and fast bowler Zak Foulkes are out of the five-match T20 series, while star fast bowler Will O'Rourke has been ruled out of the T20s, ODIs, and Test matches due to a calf muscle injury. According to Kiwis head coach Rob Walter, O'Rourke is expected to recover in time for the four-Test series against Australia in early December. Chapman injured his left calf during the European T20 League last month, and Foulkes hurt his right hip during practice. Josh Clarkson and Blair Tickner have been named as replacements for the T20 matches, which wrap up on November 1 in Hamilton, ahead of the visiting team's ODI and Test fixtures.

Archery and Cricket Results

In the Archery Premier League, Cheero Archers secured their second consecutive win by defeating Rajputana Royals 6-2, moving to the top of the points table after taking three straight sets following a 78-69 loss in the first set. Chola Chiefs also registered their first win by beating Kakatiya Knights 6-2. Meanwhile, in T20 cricket in Rawalpindi, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by four wickets in their opening match. Sri Lanka posted 182 for 8, powered by opener Lahiru Udara's 91 runs off 55 balls, alongside bowling efforts from Naseem Shah taking three wickets for 36 runs and Imran claiming two for 21. Pakistan chased down the target in 18.5 overs, led by captain Farhan with 89 runs and Maaz Sadaqat with 50 runs.
