This gain of 14,253 units came despite lower sales across several motorcycle ranges, with Pulsar and Chetak together accounting for 1,50,087 units, or about 81% of total domestic sales. Pulsar sales stood at 97,839 units, down 9.33% from 1,07,909 units a year earlier, though it retained a 52.80% market share. The 111cc–125cc category fell 16.98% to 48,935 units, and the 126cc–150cc category dropped 21.53% to 15,840 units.
