Nushrratt Bharuccha shares first post‑injury photo as she recovers from spinal fracture

What Happened

Nushrratt Bharuccha posted her first photo after a spinal fracture, showing herself seated in a recliner against a sunset view. The actress was on a work‑cum‑holiday trip to Bali when the injury occurred and was airlifted to Mumbai for surgery. Her publicist confirmed the fracture and said the operation would delay her scheduled projects.

Reaction

In the Instagram Stories image, the caption read, "Been chasing sunsets forever. And just like that…my view changed," followed by "picture abhi baaki hai mere dost (the best is yet to come)." She said she is not fully healed but remains positive about returning to work soon.

Context

The injury happened shortly after she joined the cast of an upcoming action film directed by Remo D'Souza, starring Tiger Shroff. The movie will also feature Pashmina Roshan, Abhishek Banerjee and Elvish Yadav, marking Nushrratt’s first on‑screen pairing with Shroff. Her team warned that the surgery may cause further delays to the film’s schedule. Spinal fractures often need weeks of recovery and can affect an actor’s ability to perform action sequences, which explains the likely postponement of her upcoming film.
