Volvo Car India has opened bookings for its new EX90 electric luxury SUV at an introductory ex‑showroom price of ₹1.26 crore. The six‑seater model marks the brand’s first software‑defined vehicle in India and sits on Volvo’s SPA2 platform. Deliveries are scheduled to start in January 2027. An early‑bird offer runs until 31 December 2026 and includes an 11 kW wall‑box charger, a three‑year service package and a 65 % buy‑back guarantee after three years.

Technical Specs

The EX90 is powered by an NVIDIA DRIVE platform and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 cockpit system. It features a 14.5‑inch touchscreen that runs a built‑in Google ecosystem with Maps, YouTube and Amazon Prime Video, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and over‑the‑air updates. A single core computer can handle 254‑280 trillion operations per second. The twin‑motor setup draws from a 106 kWh lithium‑ion battery, delivering 335 kW (456 hp) and 670 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. Volvo projects a WLTP range of up to 625 km and an ICAT‑rated range of up to 725 km.
