Karan Johar announces final season of Koffee With Karan with Salman Khan as first guest

Filmmaker Karan Johar has announced that his celebrity talk show Koffee With Karan is ending with its upcoming season 9. Salman Khan will feature as the very first guest for the final season's premiere episode.

What Happened

In the official teaser released by Karan Johar, the host welcomes Salman Khan by referencing a viral comment. The actor immediately takes Karan's seat and tells him to sit on the guest couch instead. Bringing back his famous question from an earlier season, Karan asks Salman if he is still a virgin. Salman responds by telling him to control himself, brother. The actor also jokes that Karan might have lied about the show ending just to convince everyone to appear, before hilariously telling the filmmaker not to go.

Discussion and Streaming

Karan notes that Salman looks a lot more composed now, and the actor replies that it is high time he follows his own advice. The two also talk about Salman's recent episode where he addressed trolling and the paparazzi culture. When Karan tells Salman to fight for the iconic hamper, the actor smiles and says he will fight for pamper instead. The first episode of Koffee With Karan 9 streams October 14 onwards on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar.
