Representative image · PexelsEmpower India shares surged to the 5% upper‑circuit limit on the BSE on Wednesday, 16 September, after the company disclosed a signed non‑binding term sheet to acquire 100 % of Valiance Engineers. The stock touched ₹2.50, the circuit‑breaker level, before trimming gains and closing at ₹2.48, a rise of 3.77 %. Empower India, a technology and digital infrastructure firm, filed the announcement with the exchange on the same day. The indicative, all‑equity term sheet was signed with Mark AB Capital Private Limited, which will act as the transaction partner. The deal would give Empower India full ownership of Valiance Engineers’ equity share capital. The move marked a rare upper‑circuit swing for a penny stock priced under ₹10, underscoring investor interest in the proposed acquisition.
