Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has rented out two commercial office spaces in Mumbai for a combined monthly rent of 22.76 lakh rupees. Official property documents show the units are located at Kanakia Wall Street in the Andheri East area. CRE Matrix, a real estate data platform, accessed the registration details. The offices sit on a higher floor in the A-Wing and cover a total carpet area of 5,692 square feet. The rental rate comes to about 400 rupees per square foot every month, and the deal gives the tenant parking space for six vehicles.
Agreement Details
The formal leave and licence agreement was registered on September 29, 2026. Saif Ali Khan signed through his attorney, while Durva Fintech Private Limited acted as the tenant, represented by director Vikaas Mohan Sachdeva. The contract lasts for five years, running from May 10, 2026, to May 9, 2031. The firm paid an interest-free security deposit of 2.36 crore rupees, which covers roughly 10.4 months of the starting rent. The deal also locks in the tenant for 36 months and includes a yearly rent hike of 5 percent. Over the full 60 months, total rental income is expected to cross 14 crore rupees.
Portfolio Context
Saif originally bought these two office units in November 2025 by spending over 30 crore rupees. This deal adds to his growing property portfolio and past leasing history in Mumbai. He previously rented out his old home at Fortune Heights in Bandra, a 1,500-square-foot apartment where he once lived with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan. That flat went to a media production company for 3.5 lakh rupees a month. Meanwhile, the actor is also busy with upcoming film projects like Pulkit's crime drama Kartavya and Priyadarshan's action thriller Haiwaan, where he works again with Akshay Kumar.
Context
Commercial real estate investments by film stars often provide steady, long-term rental income alongside property value growth. Many actors in Mumbai buy large office floors in business districts like Andheri to lease out to corporate tenants, fintech firms, and media companies.
