Bengaluru Namma Metro services will run until the early hours of Sunday to help people travel home after the T20 cricket match on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited announced that last train times from terminal stations will move past the usual 11 p.m. cutoff.
Train Schedule Details

Road on the Yellow Line will depart at 1.30 a.m. Trains leaving Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic, toward all four directions will depart at 1 a.m.
Travel Tips
Digital match tickets now include embedded QR codes for two-way metro journeys to make travel easier. Officials advised spectators to pick metro stations based on their stadium gates. Fans entering through Cubbon Road gates should use Cubbon Park station, while those using Link Road gates should head to Mahatma Gandhi Road station. The BMRCL also noted it can regulate or temporarily close station entry points to keep passengers safe.
Context
Public transport agencies often extend operating hours during major sports events to manage large crowds and reduce road traffic congestion in big cities. Providing QR codes directly inside digital event tickets is a growing method to cut down long queues at station ticket counters.
