Iron Maiden announced a third and final North American leg of their 50th‑anniversary “Run for Your Lives” tour, slated to finish with headline slots at the Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio and the Boardwalk Rock festival in Ocean City, Maryland. The British heavy‑metal group, inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2026, added the leg to reach fans in regions they missed earlier in the tour. Bassist and founder Steve Harris said the band had planned a 2027 break but decided to extend the U.S. and Canada shows after hearing strong support, especially in the Northwest and Southeast. He also noted the appeal of playing festivals where the audience includes many new listeners. The itinerary starts on the 22nd in Chula Vista, California at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre and moves through San Bernardino, Phoenix, Dallas, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Raleigh, Hartford, and Belmont Park, New York, before ending with the two festival dates on the 14th and 16th. Each stop features a different arena or amphitheatre, ranging from the Glen Helen Amphitheater in California to the UBS Arena in New York. Fans can expect the band’s classic setlist alongside newer tracks from their latest album. ## Context The tour marks Iron Maiden’s half‑century milestone and shows their continued ability to sell large venues across North America, reinforcing their status as one of heavy metal’s longest‑running acts.
