Traffic curbs at the Vaishali Nagar Railway underpass in Hyderabad's Miyapur area will stay in place for another week. The Cyberabad Traffic Police issued an advisory stating the rules apply from October 8 to October 14. Road widening and storm water drain work finished recently, but restrictions continue so the new road surface can cure properly and gain strength. Drivers coming from My Home Mangala Apartments toward Hafeezpet must take a detour at the My Home Mangala T-junction, turn toward Raghavendra Nagar Colony, use Hi-Tension Road, and pass the RTA office in Kondapur before taking the Hafeezpet ROB. Vehicles from the Telangana Contractors Cultural Club follow this same path at the T-junction. Traffic from My Home Jewel, RTC Colony, and Manjeera Pipeline Road must move along the pipeline road toward the Hafeezpet ROB, turn left near Genpact, use the Kondapur-Allwyn Junction Road, and take a U-turn near the Government School. Drivers coming from Vasavi Lake City and Hafeezpet Lake turn around at Spire One Apartments, head toward the Hafeezpet ROB, turn left near Genpact, and use the Government School U-turn. Traffic from Gopal Nagar and Calvary Temple must take a right at the underpass, join the Kondapur-Allwyn Junction Road, and use the Government School U-turn to reach Kondapur and Raghavendra Nagar Colony.
Context
Road curing is a crucial step in civil engineering where newly poured concrete or asphalt is kept moist and protected to reach its maximum strength and durability. Traffic restrictions are commonly extended during this settling period to prevent heavy vehicle movement from damaging the fresh surface before it fully sets.
