The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India, known as Credai, will host the fifth edition of its flagship STATECON event in Tamil Nadu on October 11 and 12, 2026. Alongside this main conference, the organisation will launch the first edition of FAIRBUILD 2026, which is a business-to-business expo focused on construction and building materials.

Network Expansion

W.S. Habib, president of Credai Tamil Nadu, announced that the organisation is growing its presence across the state by adding five new chapters. This expansion will take the total number of chapters from 10 to 15. The new locations include Coonoor and Ooty in the Nilgiris, Kodaikanal, Vellore, Thanjavur, and Karur, marking the first time Credai will establish chapters in hill stations. Mr. Habib also noted that raw material costs are rising, though the situation remains better than it was during the war, and stated that the current government rejects bribes.

Context

Trade expos and business-to-business events help connect material suppliers directly with builders to speed up project planning. Credai represents developers across India, working to address industry challenges like rising material costs and shifting technology trends.
