Mobility Scooter Fire Damages New Zealand Supermarket

A fire started by a mobility scooter caused heavy damage to the front of a supermarket in Te Kūiti. Emergency services rushed to the scene after the vehicle caught fire near the building entrance, sending thick smoke into the air and triggering a large blaze. Fire crews worked to put out the flames before the fire could spread through the entire store. Officials are looking into what caused the scooter to catch fire. No serious injuries have been reported so far from the incident.
