Tiger Shroff survives firing outside Mumbai club as three suspects are caught in Rajasthan

Unidentified attackers opened fire on actor Tiger Shroff's vehicle as he left a Mumbai football club at around 7 pm on Sunday. Tiger escaped without any scratches, but his driver was struck in the elbow and palm. A fan walking near the car was also shot in the stomach during the attack. After his driver was shot, Tiger shifted seats and drove the car himself to the hospital.

Arrests And Reactions

Police arrested three suspects in Kota, Rajasthan, in connection with the shooting. Mumbai police formed 15 teams, including the Crime Branch, to investigate the case. Bollywood celebrities and industry bodies quickly expressed shock and concern. Singer Mika Singh, filmmaker Rahul Dholakia, and actor Karan Veer Mehra spoke out about the incident. Actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha also posted about the worrying attack on social media. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees issued a stern statement condemning the violence. The film body noted this follows an earlier firing incident involving filmmaker Rohit Shetty's residence earlier this year.

Government Response

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Tiger Shroff and his family at their residence after the attack. Shinde stated that five rounds were fired at the vehicle, and Tiger sustained minor injuries from gunpowder and glass shards. The Deputy CM promised that the state government stands with public figures against open threats. Shinde also linked this case to past incidents, including the 2024 murder of politician Baba Siddique and shots fired outside Salman Khan's home.
