Bajaj Auto has launched the new Pulsar N250SS at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,59,406 in Delhi.

Upgrades and Features

The motorcycle features a four-valve engine that makes 25 PS and 22 Nm of torque, which is a small increase from the older N250 model's 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm. Bajaj has replaced the old five-speed gearbox with a six-speed unit, and added a Sports Shifter for quick gear shifts. The N250SS also brings an Electronic Throttle Body with ride modes, working alongside the existing ABS modes. The older LCD console has been replaced by a 5-inch TFT display that includes Google Maps mirroring. Other additions include adjustable levers, a USB Type-C charging port, a hazard switch, and a Panic Brake Alert.

Leadership Statement

Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer of the Two-wheeler Business Unit at Bajaj Auto, stated that the upgraded powertrain and electronic throttle ride modes strengthen the motorcycle's market position. He added that the company wants to make technology a meaningful part of the daily riding experience.

Context

This launch is part of Bajaj's wider effort to refresh its entire Pulsar lineup as the brand marks 25 years in the market. Motorcycle makers often add advanced electronics, smartphone connectivity features, and multi-mode gearboxes to mid-sized bikes to attract young buyers looking for modern technology.
