Mahindra has rolled out the 2026 Bold edition of its Bolero SUV. The edition dresses the vehicle in a bronze colour treatment applied to several exterior panels and interior trim pieces. A rear‑view camera is also added as a standard feature. The powertrain remains unchanged from the regular Bolero. The SUV continues to be powered by a 1.5‑litre three‑cylinder diesel that makes 76 horsepower and 210 Nm of torque. It is only offered with a five‑speed manual gearbox and rear‑wheel drive. The Bold edition follows a similar limited‑edition launch the company did for the Bolero last year. Prices for the 2026 range are listed as ex‑showroom figures in Indian rupees: the B4 trim is priced at Rs 8.57 lakh, the B6 at Rs 9.37 lakh, the B6(O) at Rs 9.69 lakh and the top‑spec B8 at Rs 9.99 lakh. All versions retain the same engine and transmission setup. The new bronze accents aim to give the rugged Bolero a fresher, more premium look while the camera improves rear‑visibility for city driving. The unchanged mechanical package keeps the model’s proven fuel‑efficiency and low maintenance costs intact.
Context
The Bolero has been a staple in Mahindra’s line‑up for over two decades, known for its durability on Indian roads. Introducing special editions with cosmetic upgrades is a common strategy to boost interest without altering the vehicle’s core engineering.
