UPDATE - follow-up to 2026 Mahindra Bolero Bold edition launched: Mahindra has launched a dealer‑level Bold edition pack for the 2026 Bolero SUV. The pack dresses the vehicle in bronze‑coloured accents on the front bumper, grille, fog‑lamp surrounds, alloy wheels, door cladding, roof rails and ORVM caps. Inside, buyers get a rear‑view camera, black leatherette seats and edition‑specific floor mats. The powertrain remains unchanged – a 1.5‑litre three‑cylinder diesel engine producing 76 hp and 210 Nm of torque, coupled only with a 5‑speed manual gearbox. The accessories are offered as an optional pack that dealers can fit on any existing Bolero trim. The bronze styling gives the long‑standing SUV a more premium look while keeping the engine unchanged. The new trim sits on the existing price ladder, with the entry‑level B4 at Rs 8.57 lakh and the top‑end B8 at Rs 9.99 lakh. This is the second consecutive year Mahindra offers a Bold edition for the Bolero, building on last year’s version but without any engine upgrades.
Context
The Bolero has been a staple rear‑wheel‑drive SUV in India's rural and utility markets, known for its rugged build and low running costs.
