CEER will build the EXOBOT electric sedan and SUV at the Middle East’s largest automotive plant, with a goal of 45 % local parts in the cars by 2034 under Vision 2030. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman unveiled the two models on Monday, marking CEER’s entry into passenger EVs. Production will take place at the CEER manufacturing complex, the region’s biggest car‑building facility. The sedan and SUV are the first of seven models CEER plans to launch over the next five years, covering midsize and compact segments with varied powertrains. The EXOBOT sedan claims a 670‑km NEDC range, can charge from 10‑80 % in 30 minutes, accelerates 0‑100 kph in 2.6 seconds and puts out 850 hp. The SUV offers a 560‑km NEDC range, the same 30‑minute charge time, 0‑100 kph in 2.9 seconds and also 850 hp. Since 2022 CEER has signed deals with BMW, Hyundai and Rimac to help develop the vehicles. All models will be designed, engineered and tested to suit Saudi conditions and regional needs.
