Bajaj Auto exported 11,00,827 two‑wheelers in the April‑August period of FY27, a 50 % jump from 7,34,193 units a year earlier. That volume already covers 56 % of the company’s record annual motorcycle export tally of 19.6 lakh units set in FY26, putting it on track to break the record by year‑end. Across all product lines – two‑wheelers, three‑wheelers and the Qute quadricycle – the firm shipped 12,66,714 units in the same five‑month span, also 50 % higher than last year. Of the 10,96,009 motorcycles exported, 4,818 were Chetak electric scooters, the rest being conventional bikes. Bikes with 100‑110 cc engines led the pack with 4,70,362 units, up 95 % YoY and representing 43 % of total motorcycle exports. The 110‑125 cc segment added 3,04,191 units, a 42 % rise and 28 % share; together the two entry‑level brackets made up 71 % of Bajaj’s motorcycle exports. The 125‑150 cc range (Boxer, CT 150, Pulsar) contributed 1,02,266 units, up 11 %; the 150‑200 cc segment grew to 1,22,481 units, a 17 % increase. Export growth was strongest in Latin America, especially Brazil and Mexico, and in Africa where the Boxer 125 Heavy Duty saw strong demand in Nigeria. Three‑wheelers also rose sharply, with 1,60,685 units shipped, a 48 % increase and giving Bajaj a 62 % share of India’s total three‑wheel exports of 2,59,593 units. Qute sales jumped 206 % YoY to 5,202 units, driven by orders from Egypt, Turkey and several African markets, reaching 78 % of its previous record annual export of 6,696 units set in FY26.
