State Bank of India has released the admit cards for the Junior Associate preliminary examination of 2026. Students who registered for the exam can now download their hall tickets from the official website at sbi.co.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,680 vacancies across the organisation. The preliminary test is scheduled to take place in September 2026. The online exam will carry 100 marks and last for one hour, featuring objective questions divided into three distinct parts: English language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Each section will have its own separate time limit. Candidates should note that the test includes negative marking, where one-fourth of the mark assigned to a question will be cut for every wrong answer. The exam has no set minimum qualifying marks for individual tests or for the total score, and section-wise marks will not be kept. Trained apprentices of the bank will receive weightage in the Main Examination through bonus marks. Eligible apprentices can get 2.5% of the maximum marks, which equals 5 marks out of 200, added to their total score. To qualify for these bonus marks, an apprentice's engagement start date must be on or after January 1, 2022, and they must have completed one year of branch experience by August 31, 2026, with satisfactory conduct and performance. Successful completion also requires passing a trade test and obtaining a joint National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by SBI along with NSDC or BFSI-SSC.
