Actor and politician Manoj Tiwari's daughter Rhiti Tiwari has faced heavy criticism on the reality show Bigg Boss 20 after claiming she had a tough life and received a monthly allowance of only ₹20,000 to ₹25,000.
Show Claims And Allowance
In a recent episode, Rhiti spoke about her struggles and stated she considers herself a layperson rather than a privileged person. She explained that after her parents divorced, her father did not live with her and she could meet him only once a year before deciding to build a closer bond after turning 18. She added that none of her father's wealth, money, name, fame, or opportunities came to her, and he made it clear he would not help her with her career. Rhiti stated that she received a monthly allowance of ₹20,000 to ₹25,000, and sometimes ate a ₹10 vada pav to fill her stomach and put just ₹500 worth of diesel in her car.
Social Media Reactions
Her remarks prompted a wave of online backlash, with social media users calling her the new star-kid struggler in the market. One user asked what kind of poverty this was, while another pointed out that ₹25,000 is the average salary of many Indians and called her claims illogical. Other users joked that her struggle was far tougher than actor Ananya Panday's.
Family Background And Show Details
Manoj Tiwari married his first wife, Rani Tiwari, in 1999, and they had Rhiti before divorcing in 2012.
