The Staff Selection Commission has released the exam city intimation slip for the Combined Graduate Level Tier-one examination for 2026. Candidates can check their assigned exam city, date, and shift by logging into the official portal at ssc.gov.in.

Exam Schedule And Admit Card

The computer-based test will take place over a month, running from September 30 to October 30, 2026. Admit cards will become available two to three days before each candidate's specific test date. Students must check their admit card for the exact reporting time and venue rather than relying on common timings found online.

Paper Pattern And Vacancies

The one-hour computer test will feature 100 questions worth a total of 200 marks, split across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section contains 25 questions, and incorrect answers will attract a negative marking of 0.50 marks. Questions will appear in both English and Hindi, except for the English Comprehension part. This recruitment drive aims to fill 12,256 Group B and Group C vacancies across central government departments and ministries.
