Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that protests and demonstrations achieve nothing, urging political leaders to prioritize public welfare instead. Speaking in outer Delhi, Shah launched 33 Delhi Jal Board projects valued at β‚Ή8,941 crore.

Opposition Criticism

Shah criticized the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party for alleging vote theft and pointing out flaws in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Furthermore, he claimed that the opposition invents the vote theft narrative to protect infiltrators and cover up electoral losses, predicting that the BJP will remain in power for 30 years.

Delhi Development And Yamuna

Shifting to local infrastructure, Shah blamed past Congress and AAP administrations for letting sewage and industrial waste flow into the Yamuna. He announced that the Central government alongside Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh are executing a time-bound plan to clean the river by May 2029 through a three-year action plan. He also stated that over two crore tonnes of waste have been cleared from Delhi landfill sites, reclaiming 100 acres of land that will become gardens within two years. Finally, he criticized the AAP government in Punjab over rising drug abuse and predicted the NDA will form the government there by 2029.
