Suzlon Energy shares fell for the third day in a row after rising for six straight sessions. The company board announced a meeting on 29 October 2026 to declare its second-quarter earnings. Despite this announcement, the stock opened lower at ₹39.05 on the NSE and touched an intraday low of ₹38.26.

Expert Outlook

Stock market experts state that Suzlon shares are trading at a heavy discount with limited downside risk. Seema Srivastava, Senior Research Analyst at SMC Global Securities, noted that the company is now debt-free and the market expects better cost control to improve margins and net profit. Nuvama projects about 690 MW of execution in the second quarter of financial year 2027 and an EBITDA margin of around 16.6 percent. Mahesh M Ojha, Vice President of Research and Business Development at KC Securities, pointed out that the stock has corrected 29 percent over the past year, placing its weighted average price around ₹38 to ₹40.

Trading Strategy

Sumeet Bagadia, Executive Director at Choice Broking, advises existing shareholders to hold the stock with a strict stop-loss at ₹35 for a target of ₹42, which could extend to ₹46 if broken decisively. Fresh investors can also buy the stock with the same stop-loss at ₹35 for a near-term target of ₹46.

Context

Renewable energy companies often experience share price movements based on order book strength and execution targets set by brokerages. Company performance in this sector depends heavily on quarterly execution capacity and margin improvements after clearing debts.
