Actor Saif Ali Khan has sold a 797-square-foot carpet-area apartment in Mumbai's Bandra West for Rs 4.11 crores. The property transaction at Hi-Cons Residency also includes two open parking spaces.

Property Sale Details

The sale deed was officially registered on October 19, 2026. The buyers had already signed the agreement to sell on March 7, 2024, registered it on March 11, 2024, and taken possession on March 7, 2024. Registration records show the buyers paid a stamp duty of Rs 24.66 lakhs for the flat. Khan originally bought a larger 6,000-square-foot unit across two upper floors of the same building from developer Hi-Con Constructions on March 30, 2007, for Rs 9.7 crores. This original purchase covered three separate apartments created after a division on June 19, 2014, which included a 2,997-square-foot flat, a 2,205-square-foot flat, and the 797-square-foot flat that is now sold.

Commercial Lease

Apart from the residential sale, Khan has leased out commercial property in Mumbai. He rented two commercial units spanning 5,692 square feet of RERA carpet area on Andheri Kurla Road to Durva Fintech Private Limited for a monthly rent of Rs 22.76 lakhs. The five-year leave and licence agreement was registered on September 29, 2026, running from May 10, 2026, to May 9, 2031. Vikaas Mohan Sachdeva, a director of Durva Fintech, signed as the licensee, while Khan acted as licensor through his constituted attorney.

Other Residences

Khan and his family currently live in an over 6,500-square-foot apartment in Mumbai's Satguru Sharan building, bought from Satguru Builders in April 2012 for Rs 23.50 crores. Before moving there, he and his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, lived in the Fortune Heights complex in Bandra, where he also bought a 950-square-foot apartment for Rs 7 crores in April 2016.

Context

Celebrities and high-income property owners in Mumbai frequently manage large property portfolios by buying, selling, or leasing residential and commercial spaces as real estate values shift. Property registration databases like CRE Matrix track these official deals through public stamp duty and agreement records.
