Deliveries for the vehicle will begin in April of 2027 while road testing continues across the country where it is manufactured for local and global markets. Recent test models were spotted in Coimbatore, revealing final production parts seen at the August 15 launch in Mumbai. The mid-size truck competes against the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross, serving as the spiritual successor to the Scorpio Getaway for adventure seekers, farmers, and engineers.
Design and Features
The exterior shares a similar shape to the Scorpio N SUV up to the rear doors. Behind the passenger cabin is a large load bed capable of holding motorcycles, bicycles, canoes, or a campervan build. Exterior highlights include a tailgate with Mahindra lettering, new LED tail lights, chunky bumpers, a large front grille, sleek LED headlights, and vertical Ice Cube fog lights. The truck also features roof racks, thick wheel arch claddings, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with 255-section tyres, and frequency dependant dampers. The cabin includes a dedicated steering wheel, a new dashboard with vertical AC vents, a large portrait infotainment screen, a landscape TFT instrument cluster, dual zone climate control, and a sunroof. Additional interior features are ventilated seats, surround cameras, and an ADAS safety suite.
Engine Options
Power comes from the same engine choices used in the Scorpio N SUV, featuring a 2.0-litre turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre turbo diesel. Buyers can choose between manual and automatic gearboxes along with an optional 4X4 transfer case and terrain modes.
