Russian forces launched overnight drone strikes targeting businesses, storage facilities, and energy sites across multiple regions of Ukraine, injuring seven people. The Russian Defence Ministry stated that its forces carried out group strikes using drones on military-industrial sites, energy facilities, logistics centres, and maritime vessels.
Damage in Kyiv and Regions
In Kyiv, three people sustained injuries. A warehouse in the Holosiivskyi district caught fire after being hit, while a fuel station and an office building in the same district also suffered damage. Drone debris fell in open areas in the Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts, with a gas station damaged in Darnytskyi. In the western Zhytomyr region, two people were hurt in an attack on a business. In southeastern Zaporizhzhia, two men aged 37 and 39 were injured in a strike that triggered a large fire at a shopping centre, which spread across about 6,000 square metres before emergency crews brought it under control.
Odesa and Port Strikes
In the southern Odesa region, Russian attacks struck warehouse buildings and sparked a large fire, which firefighters struggled to extinguish due to repeated air raid alerts and stored goods. The Russian Defence Ministry said it hit three logistics centres used for storing military and dual-use goods in Odesa, along with a storage facility for drone components in the wider region. The ministry added that a bulk carrier transporting military supplies to the port of Odesa was also hit at sea, while emergency workers across regions had to periodically halt operations to take shelter.
