Newly updated Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS400Z models with TFT instrument clusters have begun appearing in Bajaj showrooms before their official launch. Both bikes now carry the same 5‑inch TFT screen first seen on the Pulsar N160 4V, offering crisp resolution, good brightness and sunlight legibility. The display connects via Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth, enabling Google Maps mirroring, music control, third‑party app notifications and call alerts. Bajaj’s smartphone app lets Android users view Google Maps even with the phone screen off. The cluster also stores digital copies of the rider’s driving licence, insurance and registration certificate, and may include lap‑timer and acceleration‑timer functions. The NS200 receives the same switchgear as the NS400Z and adds WP Apex USD telescopic front forks, a component previously limited to KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles. Bajaj may also fit the NS200 TFT variant with wider radial tyres and sintered brake pads, though this is not confirmed. Engine sizes stay unchanged; the NS400Z continues with its recent 350 cc downsized engine, while the NS200 retains its existing powertrain. Earlier this year Bajaj overhauled the Classic Pulsar 125 and 150 on a next‑gen platform and engine, and gave subtle feature upgrades to the Pulsar N and other NS models. The new TFT cluster was later rolled out to the Classic Pulsar 125 and 150 before reaching the performance‑focused NS200 and NS400Z. An official launch and updated pricing are expected soon.
