Tata unveiled the cabin of the new Aeris sedan in a teaser released before its launch on September 25. The dashboard mirrors the Tiago layout but adopts a light beige colour throughout. A freestanding touchscreen sits above twin central AC vents, followed by a row of physical switches. Below that, a gloss‑black climate‑control panel holds two rotary knobs and the AERIS badge. A textured horizontal strip separates the upper and lower sections. The seats and adjustable front headrests share the light colour scheme, and a front centre armrest appears between them. A two‑spoke multifunction steering wheel and a fully digital instrument cluster are shown. A rotary selector on the centre console signals an AMT version, and paddle shifters are also offered. The teaser highlights a 360‑degree camera system that also works as a dashcam, displaying four feeds labelled Front, Rear, Left and Right. Each feed shows a person holding a card that together spells “Time To Defeat Boring”. The system can record exterior footage and aid manoeuvring, a feature already present on some Tata models for continuous recording and incident storage. The interior suggests a 10.25‑inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a Harman audio system on higher trims. Expected extras include wireless phone charging, USB‑Type‑C ports, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and a blind‑view monitor. The centre console provides space for a phone ahead of the rotary selector. Aeris will offer more luggage capacity than the Tiago hatchback and is expected in a twin‑cylinder CNG version whose boot space depends on tank placement. Power will come from a 1.2‑litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with manual and AMT choices, while CNG models will be available with both transmissions. Final specifications, prices and variant details will be disclosed at the September 25 launch, where Aeris will compete with the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze.
