ICAI Announces CA Exam Timetable for January 2027

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released the schedule for the CA January 2027 examinations covering foundation and intermediate courses. Students can view the official timetable on the ICAI website. The intermediate course tests for Group I will take place on January 2, 4 and 6, while Group II papers are scheduled for January 8, 10 and 12. Every intermediate paper runs during a single afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. Meanwhile, the foundation course tests will happen on January 3, 5, 7 and 9. Paper I and Paper 2 for the foundation course run from 2 pm to 5 pm, whereas Paper 3 and Paper 4 run from 2 pm to 4 pm. Beyond domestic centers, the exams will also take place in three overseas cities: Bahrain, Dubai and Kathmandu. Local start times for these international locations are adjusted to match the 2 pm Indian Standard Time slot, with Dubai starting at 12.30 pm local time, Bahrain at 11.30 am local time, and Kathmandu at 2.15 pm local time. Registration for these exams opens on November 3 and closes on November 16, 2026. The fee for the intermediate course is 1500 rupees for a single group and 2700 rupees for both groups combined, while the foundation course fee is 1500 rupees. Candidates can pay this exam fee online using credit cards, debit cards, net banking, or UPI methods.
