Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt star in viral ad pitching movie ideas

Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt star in a new promotional advertisement for a steel rod brand that has gone viral on social media. In the ad, a meeting starts when veteran actor Bijendra Kala pitches an idea where the three actors dance on stage to promote the product. All three actors reject this plan and instead pitch ideas based on their own previous films. Shah Rukh Khan suggests a take on Don, while Ranbir Kapoor cracks jokes referencing Rockstar and uses lines like it is impossible to sit through the ad. Alia Bhatt roasts Ranbir by quoting the song Nadaan Parindey, and then pitches her own movie idea about a girl whose brother is in jail and cannot break him out. Shah Rukh immediately shoots down her idea by joking that no one has the guts or jigra to watch that film. The ad ends with the trio dancing together to a signature step. Fans on Reddit and other platforms praised the marketing, with actor Shraddha Kapoor also leaving laughing emojis in the comments. Outside of this commercial, Shah Rukh Khan is working on the action thriller King directed by Siddharth Anand, co-starring Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Suhana Khan, which releases on December 24, 2026. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will appear together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War alongside Vicky Kaushal, set for release on January 21, 2027. Ranbir Kapoor also stars in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, which arrives in theaters around Diwali this year.
