Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War to Release in IMAX

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming romantic drama film Love & War will release in the IMAX format on January 21, 2027. The movie features a lead cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.

First Look Poster Details

A newly unveiled poster for the film shows Ranbir Kapoor driving a blue vintage convertible car while wearing sunglasses and a moustache. His arm has blood on it, pointing towards a violent conflict hidden beneath the romance. The movie title and the January 21, 2027 release date are printed on the car door and the bottom of the poster. A logo in the corner confirms the IMAX release for the big screen.

Return to IMAX

This project brings the filmmaker back to the IMAX format after a gap of nine years. His previous epic, Padmaavat, came out in IMAX 3D back in 2018 and did good business. Both films share a release timing during the Republic Day week. Bhansali is known for making movies on a large scale with grand sets, rich costumes, and detailed camera work, which will now be shown on the giant screen once again.
