Director Avinash Arun has revealed why actor Aamir Khan received a special mention in the credits of his newly released film Prahaar. The movie, which came out on October 16, has won praise for its story, emotional scenes, strong acting, and direction by Avinash Arun.
The Reason
Avinash Arun explained that Aamir Khan played a key role in getting him involved with the project. Aamir Khan suggested his name to producer Dinesh Vijan, telling the director that he would do justice to the subject and should take on the project. This push inspired Avinash Arun to sign on for the film.
Longstanding Support
The director also noted that Aamir Khan has followed his work ever since his debut film Killa in 2015, and even called him after he worked on the web series Paatal Lok. When asked about a future partnership, Avinash Arun shared that they are currently talking about a couple of things and hope to work together soon.
Context
Avinash Arun is a trained graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune who works as both a director and cinematographer. Over his career, he has shot well-known films like Masaan, Drishyam, and Hichki, while also directing projects such as the Marathi movie Killa and the web series School Of Lies.
