Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor Join Karan Johar on Koffee with Karan

Actors Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor are set to appear on the third episode of Koffee with Karan Season 9, streaming on Wednesday on JioHotstar. The promo shows the episode beginning with Janhvi and Varun, who co-starred in Bawaal, while Arjun joins them midway through in a surprise appearance. The promo also highlights a period when Karan had stopped speaking to both Varun and Janhvi. Janhvi admitted that she gained weight when they stopped talking, and Karan confessed he was hurt with both of them.

Fallout Speculation and Agency Changes

The appearance comes amid recent speculation of a fallout between Janhvi and Karan after she left his talent management agency, Dharma Cornerstone Artist Agency, to join Collective Artists Network. Speaking previously to Hindustan Times about talent moving between agencies, Karan stated that he always wishes departing talent well and continues to work with them, noting that passing the parcel happens between the three leading agencies. He also spoke about young actors facing pressure from living in an anxious generation where they are judged daily and want fast validation of stardom. Varun also faced speculation regarding a potential dispute after his film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai shifted its release date to clash with Karan's Chaand Mera Dil, though no official personal dispute was confirmed.

Episode Highlights

During the buzzer round, Janhvi and Varun engaged in a playful, dramatic argument where Janhvi exclaimed she felt attacked. Varun also humorously compared Karan to Amitabh Bachchan's dramatic character from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Later, Varun stated he turns to Arjun Kapoor for marriage and career advice. For the rapid-fire segment, when Karan asked for an Instagram account that is giving all the time, Janhvi quickly named Ravi Kishan and imitated his statement about money following his brother.
