Netflix Comedy Series Returns for Fifth Season with Star Guests

Season Launch

The popular comedy program hosted by Kapil Sharma is coming back for a fifth season on Netflix, with its premiere planned for September 26 to coincide with the festive period. New episodes will drop every Saturday at 8 pm. The opening episode features actors from the hit film series Drishyam.

Star Guests and Jokes

Actor Ajay Devgn appears alongside his co-stars Shriya Saran, Esha Dutta, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Mrunal Jadhav. During the episode, host Kapil Sharma jokes about Ajay Devgn's quiet nature, noting that after knowing him for 15 years, they have only spoken fourteen times. The conversation also touches on why Ajay's wife, Kajol, is not part of the films, with Ajay joking that the first movie would not even exist if she starred in it.

Sports and More Faces

Apart from Bollywood actors, the upcoming season brings cricket stars Ravi Shastri and Sunil Gavaskar onto the stage. They interact with Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is back on the program as a judge. Regular cast members Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Sunil Grover also return to present various comic acts, alongside special guest appearances by Vikas Divyakirti, Pankaj Tripathi, and Zakir Khan.
