Advance bookings for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part One have crossed the twenty crore rupee mark worldwide ten days ahead of its scheduled release. The pre-sales for the big-budget film began fifteen days before release, starting with a blockbuster response on Dussehra before the pace plateaued into steady momentum.

Domestic Sales

In India alone, the film has reached the ten crore rupee mark in pre-sales by selling over two lakh tickets for its opening day domestically. The Hindi version leads the collections by accounting for eighty-seven percent of advance bookings, with tickets already selling for over forty-two hundred shows across India. Meanwhile, the Kannada version has crossed the one crore rupee mark across roughly one hundred screens, and the Telugu shows have neared forty lakh rupees across ten to fifteen screens with several shows already turning houseful.

Overseas And Production

International markets have also added strong numbers, led by North America where the film has sold five hundred fifty thousand dollars in tickets for paid previews on November fourth, alongside four hundred thousand dollars for the release day from other overseas territories. Produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios with DNEG and Yash's Monster Mind Creations, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The first part is set for a worldwide release on November fifth, twenty twenty-six, with Sony Pictures handling global distribution outside India and Dharma Productions distributing in the Hindi-speaking market.

Context

Major cinematic adaptations of historical and mythological epics often open with massive pre-sales as fans rush to secure early tickets for high-profile holiday windows. The Diwali release period traditionally draws large family audiences to theaters across India and overseas markets, making advance booking milestones a key early indicator of commercial momentum for multi-part event films.
